FDA regulations state that a fetal doppler can be rented or purchased only with the prescription of a licensed caregiver. Any company that rents/sells fetal dopplers or anyone receiving a fetal doppler without a prescription is breaking the law. At Sweet Beats we know you have enough to worry about at this exciting time and have implemented systems within our checkout process to ensure your fetal doppler rental/purchase is legal and is as easy as possible.

Protect yourself—don’t rent/buy from a company who does not require a prescription for the rental or sale of a fetal doppler.

Once you have completed your baby doppler rental / purchase you will be asked to print out our caregiver prescription form. Fax or give this form to your caregiver, then have them sign and fax back to us. Remember, we will only ship your order once we receive your signed prescription, so be sure to follow up with your caregiver. We will not charge your account until we receive your prescription.

The FDA regulates fetal dopplers. Fetal Dopplers have been shown to be safe in over 30 years of studies. Nonetheless, they are considered Class II prescription medical devices. Fetal Dopplers are approved for in-home use with a licensed caregiver prescription.
