Record your baby's heartbeat with your Sweet Beats Fetal Doppler! It's easy!!

**use only battery powered devices to record your baby's heartbeat. Do not plug your fetal doppler into anything that is plugged into a wall outlet!

Step 1a. Recording Your Baby's Heartbeat With Your BATTERY POWERED Laptop PC

Plug the provided audio cord into the headphone jack on your Sweet Beats Fetal Doppler. With the other end find the microphone jack on the back of your computer's hard drive and insert. Now with both ends of you audio cord plugged ito your fetal doppler - go to your Start Menu on the bottom of your computer screen. Next, click on the Start Menu then Programs. Following this, move your mouse over to Accessories then to Entertainment and finally click on the Sound Recorder option. When you have completed thse steps turn on your Sweet Beats fetal doppler system. Make sure the volume on your baby doppler is no more than 1/3 the way up. The higher the volume when you record your baby's heartbeat the more background noise the recorder will pick up. Now you're ready to record! Find your baby's heartbeat, click on the circular Record button on your computer screen and begin recording. when you are satisfied, click Stop. Increase the colume on your computer once you have finished recording, press Play and listen to the miraculous sounds of your baby's heartbeat!

**When the stereo cord is plugged into your fetal doppler the speaker is disengaged. Once you're setup and ready to record you'll need to unplug the cord from your fetal doppler, find your baby's heartbeat, plug the cord back in, and begin recording.

Step 1b. Recording Your Baby's Heartbeat From Your BATTERY POWERED Tape Recorder

Plug the provided audio cord into the headphone jack on your tape recorder. Now proceed in finding your baby's heartbeat with your Sweet Beats Fetal Heartbeat Monitor. Once you've found your baby's heartbeat plug the other end of the audio cord into the headphone jack on your Sweet Beats Fetal Doppler. Now you're ready to record! Double chekc to make sure the volume on your fetal doppler is no more than 1/3 the way up. The higher the volume when you record your baby's heartbeat the more background noise the recorder on your tape player will pick up.

Please be sure your tape recorder is not plugged into a wall outlet and is running on BATTERY POWER ONLY!

Step 2a. Recording Your Baby's Heartbeat From Your BATTERY POWERED Tape Recorder to Your PC

Now that you've recorded your baby's heartbeat using your Sweet Beats fetal  monitor proceed by hooking your tape recorder to your computer via the microphone/audio jack located on the back of your computer's hard drive/tower. Proceed to your Start Menu on the bottom of your computer screen. Next, click on the Start Menu then Programs. Following this, move your mouse over to Accessories then to Entertainment and finally click on the Sound Recorder option. When you have completed these steps make sure your battery powered stereo system is on then press Play, at the same time click Record on your computer screen.

Congratulations, you now have a digital file of your baby's heartbeat you can email to all of your loved ones or burn to a CD for a lasting keepsake.

Step 2b. Recording Your Baby's Heartbeat From Your BATTERY POWERED Tape Recorder to Your Mac (OS9, X)

Now that you've recorded your baby's heartbeat — proceed by hooking your tape recorder to your computer via the microphone/audio jack located on the back of your computer's hard drive/tower. With both ends of your audio cord plugged in select your sound input source. To select external audio equipment as your sound input devise, use the input section of the Sound control panel (located in your apple menu - control panel - titled SOUND). To play or record sound from an external sound source, you need to use an application program that can record or paly sound, such as SimpleSound. To open SimpleSound go to Find and type in SimpleSound and click Search. Double click the program and it will open. Click Add then Record on your computer screen and capture the sound of your baby's heartbeat! Enjoy!
